I’ve wondered frequently about what an online voting platform would like like, so this was an interesting read.

Linking out to other helpful resources within the app could also help prospective voters. Sites like vote.org let citizens check registration status, set up reminders, talk to a support person, make a pledge to vote etc. Maybe an integration with sites like this would make sense.

Security seems like it could be the biggest concern. But I wasn’t sure about the context in which the three security measures mentioned in the case study are suggested. Linking out to articles that expand on each item would be helpful.

When comparing candidates, Republicans get red and Dems get blue, which is understandable, but maybe another colour code to indicate whether a candidate is for or against an issue will help people grasp the info quicker. Eg. Since "AGAINST" is in red for Republicans and same copy is in Blue for Dems, it is a bit confusing.

Overall quite thought-provoking.
